Incorporating wood into your enclosure is not only a great way to add decor to your animal's home but also provides enrichment for your creature in the form of habitat enrichment and touch enrichment. Here at BioActive Supply, we offer a large range of wood that is safe to incorporate into your BioActive enclosure.

*Note- It is important to remember that not all wood types may suit your enclosure, Some woods may be prone to mold making them unsuitable for wet enclosures, that have a constant humidity of 60% or more

Which Wood is right for you?

Cork Oak- Cork oak is Suited for all habitat types and Humidity

Grape Wood- Grape Wood is recommended for Dry or Arid enclosure types and is perfect for enclosures maintaining humidity levels of 50% or less.

Ghost Wood- Ghost Wood is recommended for Dry or Arid enclosure types and is perfect for enclosures maintaining humidity levels of 50% or less.

Spider Wood- Spider Wood is recommended for all enclosure types, These treated root balls have long been popular in aquariums and are starting to be favored in the BioActive husbandry world as well. 

Jungle Wood- Jungle Wood is recommended for all enclosure types. Jungle wood is actually a dried vine that, once soaked, can become slightly pliable, making it perfect for climbing platforms. 

Cholla Wood- Cholla Wood is recommended for Dry or Arid enclosure types. We recommend this wood for enclosures, maintaining humidity levels below 50%. 

Iron Wood- Iron Wood is recommended for Dry or Arid enclosure types. We recommend this wood for enclosures, maintaining humidity levels below 50%. 

Aged Wood- Aged Wood is recommended for Dry or Arid enclosure types. We recommend this wood for enclosures, maintaining humidity levels below 50%.

Dragon Bone Wood- Dragon Bone Wood is recommended for all enclosure types. This wood gets its name from how it's been treated and is a wonderful addition to any enclosure.
