Thte 4" Pink Dalmation Aglaonema, also known as the pink Chinese Evergreen and Filipino Evergreen, is known for it's bold pink leaves. This plant is a very popular house plant and often given as a gift, we love adding in this bright plant into our Bio Active enclosures to add pop of color to any home, animal or not!
With Pets: This plant is best suited to bright and tropical enclosures. Like all members of the Aglaonema family, the Pink Dalmation contains calcium oxalate crystals that can cause Stomach and mouth irritation if consumed in large quantities. This plant and its family have been very popular in the reptile, amphibian, and houseplant hobbies for years; we've grown this species in our BioActive Chameleon, Crested Gecko, and Whites Tree Frog enclosures.
Native To: This plant is found throughout Southeast Asia in Tropical regions.
Lighting: This plant is happiest in bright indirect light or a bright enclosure. If the plant isn't receiving enough light, its leaves may revert to green or look dull.
Humidity: This Tropical Plant can be grown either in an animal enclosure or as a houseplant. If the plant is being grown apart of a bioactive enclosure, maintain humidity between 50-100%If the plant is being grown as a houseplant, we recommend watering once a week; if the plant looks dry after a few weeks of this, up the watering to twice a week.
