Dwarf purple Isopods(Trichoniscus sp.) are a great clean-up crew for tropical enclosures; these Isopods are tiny- less than 1/4 of an inch and make a great addition to terrariums, vivariums, and Tropical BioActive enclosures alike.
These Isopods are Grey/Purple in color and are often said to look like 'the substrate' making them the perfect clean-up crew for those who aren't a fan of seeing little critters but appreciate their role in your BioActive enclosure or terrarium.
 
Humidity: These tropical isopods live comfortably in enclosures with 50-90% humidity.
 
Temperature: The Dwarf White Isopod is sensitive to the cold, because of this we recommend keeping them at temperatures between 70-80 Degrees F.
