The Philodendron tortum is well-suited for a rainforest BioActive enclosure. This plant has long been loved by the houseplant hobby but has found its way into the BioActive reptile hobby as well!  We've even added one to our Dart Frog enclosure!
This plant is considered semi-toxic due to its containing insoluble calcium oxalate crystals that can cause irritation and discomfort when ingested or when the sap comes into contact with skin or mucous membranes
